Helping Your Child with Anxiety (ages 6-13)

Many of our children are anxious. Some express their worries through upset and fear, whilst others show it through anger and frustration. Parents often don't know what they can do to help.

Our children have lived through a tumultuous time. They have lived through school closures, and social distancing. Fear of illness and worries about their relatives. They have lived through a time of profound uncertainty and unpredictability for adults and children.

This time has taken its toll on everyone, but for children, it is particularly significant. Many of them cannot clearly remember a time before the pandemic.

In this course, Dr Naomi Fisher, clinical psychologist, will explain the developmental changes which are going on between the ages of 6 and 13. She'll explain how anxiety works, how children can get stuck, and what parents can do to help. It will be practical and engaging.

This course is suitable for all children who experience anxiety, whether they have a diagnosis or not.

It is available to watch for 6 months after purchase.
